Spiritual Transformation
Spiritual Transformation
âAnd we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lordâs glory, are being transformed into His image with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.â (II Corinthians 3:18)
Â
Spiritual Transformation implies a journey of growth, renewal, and becoming the person God has destined us to be. God has always been involved in the work of transforming lives spiritually, and this is a biblical principle we are called to embrace. Scripture teaches that we are to grow from faith to faith and from glory to glory (2 Timothy 2:1). However, there are times when challenges arise in our lives that can hinder this growth process.
- Spiritual Transformation changes the heart, renews the mind and the soul. (Romans 12:2)
- Spiritual Transformation focuses on the inner healing and renewal. Itâs not enough to just make external changes and ignore the inner self that is crying out to be transformed.
- Spiritual Transformation takes faith, faith to believe that God can and will do what seemingly seems insignificant and impossible. (Hebrews 11:6)
- Spiritual transformation exposed any systems, patterns and behaviors that have hindered our growth process. This is all done through the help of the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 2:9-16)
- Spiritual Transformation allows us to understand and come in agreement that, âwe are made in His image and likeness.â (Genesis 1:26) It helps us to transform and become like Him.
